+

+Vloser Backup is a private backup utility operated by Chris Fuller for personal
+use. It connects only to a Google account explicitly authorized by its owner.
+
+## Data access and use
+
+The utility uses Google Drive access to create, read, verify, update, and remove
+objects in an encrypted backup repository. Backup contents and source filenames
+are encrypted locally before upload. Google account data is not sold, shared
+with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train models.
+
+OAuth credentials are stored on the owner's self-hosted server and in a private
+recovery copy. They are used only for unattended backup and restore operations.
+
+## Retention and deletion
+
+Encrypted snapshots are retained according to the owner's backup policy. The
+owner can delete the repository or revoke the application's Google access at
+any time from Google Account security settings.
