WortKraft — Active German A2/B1 Vocabulary & Context Studio

WortKraft is a self-hosted German learning application built to bridge the "1,400-day Duolingo plateau" by transitioning from passive multiple-choice recognition to active recall, grammatical gender mastery (der/die/das), contextual reading, and targeted sentence production.

  • Pre-loaded practical everyday German scenarios (Bürgeramt, Arztpraxis, Feierabend, Zugfahrt, Flohmarkt) plus custom text import.
  • Click any word in any text for instant lemma, gender, plural, English translation, audio pronunciation, and 1-click saving into the SRS deck.
• 💬 Sprachpraxis (Vocabulary-Targeted Roleplay):
  • Multi-turn real-world conversations that challenge you to weave 5 Zielwörter into your German responses, with real-time inflection detection and V2 / subordinate clause word-order coaching.
• 💾 Server + Local Persistence:
  • Syncs vocabulary state across devices via /api/state (/app/data/wortkraft_state.json) with localStorage fallback.
